Tuesday.

You know, I look around and am so pleased to be a Mom. To watch our children as they play with toys, talk to themselves, invent games, ideas, just be kids. I am so blessed. I was reading in Numbers (yes that is the section I am in this week). Part of my devotionals is reading through the Bible in a year so I’m in Numbers. Well! One of my favorite passages was part of my reading today. I have been blessed by it as well as blessed others with this as well.

Numbers 6:22-27 God spoke to Moses: "Tell Aaron and his sons, This is how you are to bless the People of Israel. Say to them,

 24 God bless you and keep you,

 25 God smile on you and gift you,

 26 God look you full in the face
      and make you prosper.
27 In so doing, they will place my name on the People of Israel—
   I will confirm it by blessing them."

I enjoy those pictures in my mind. I love the picture of God smiling on me, gifting me. Looking me full in the face and then I get to prosper…hmm. Financial? You know, I’m not so sure about that. I know that as I look around my life…my life does not have the earmarks of prosperity in the world’s eyes. Yet as I read the Old Testament, I see that blessings come in the form of children. I have those. LOL. What a blessing they are to me.

Well, we continue to move forward with the short sale with Joel. Nothing really new there. Nothing new with the bankruptcy stuff either. Danny and Ella are both doing well. Dentist yesterday. No cavities. Everyone’s teeth are in good shape. Woowee…exciting life. We have been continuing to look for a place to live. Nothing yet. So continue in prayers for all of this.

I am so pleased by the sunshine. It helps so much. It is so cold!!
