Good morning to you,
As I sit here in the quiet of the morning, I think back to my day yesterday. I saw people yesterday that I have not seen in 20 years. It was amazing to sit and talk with with them. The Superbowl played in the background and the only thing that seemed to matter was our conversation. Kids came in and out. Husbands, bless them, checked in and walked back to the t.v. We just talked on and on. We dived into our lives as if no time had taken place. It was community. Facebook made that happen.
Life! Our lives are so very different. Yet, what was apparent was Jesus. I am not who I was, I am being remade. I am new.
I’m Not Who I Was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1ZgtCRO-KY
I wasn’t perfect last night. I cringe at a comment I made which exploded into a conversation. The Holy Spirit convicted me right away. I’m never perfect. My Father in heaven, keep me weak that I am always craving you first.
Proverbs 21:
21He who earnestly seeks after and craves righteousness, mercy, and loving-kindness will find life in addition to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) and honor.
If they saw anything good in me, it was Jesus. It was Him. I am nothing without Him. I crave Him more. What would I do without the blood of Jesus? His presence in my life that has guided my decisions. Even when I mess up, He guides me back into His embrace.

Check out some more verses that correspond to the verse in Proverbs.
Hosea 6: 3Yes, let us know (recognize, be acquainted with, and understand) Him; let us be zealous to know the Lord [to appreciate, give heed to, and cherish Him]. His going forth is prepared and certain as the dawn, and He will come to us as the [heavy] rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.
1 Corinthians 15: 55O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?
56Now sin is the sting of death, and sin exercises its power [i][upon the soul] through [j][the abuse of] the Law.
57But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].
1Peter: 6[You should] be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations,
7So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.
Pray for more of Jesus in you today. That God would be glorified. To Him be all the glory!
