Good morning, beloved,
Raising your culture, start this in another window and come back to me…;)
If you have not watched the movie, The Time Changer as of yet, may I suggest you get it from the library, Netflix, buy it, etc…my eldest son recommended it to us and we sat down to watch it. Oh, I’m so glad we did. Without giving much away, the shocking consequences of a decision are shown to a scholarly man. His amazement at our culture, our media, our lack of filters stuns him…and as I watched, friends, I was convicted. (I know you are confused..watch the movie@!!!)
It is so easy on Sunday morning to praise Him. To exult in the Lord…love the music, get swept away, then on move on to the week at hand…and forget. We watch programs that use His name profanely. The King of Kings! What are we filling our minds with?
I think about this idea like this…Here is Chester Cathedral in England…beautiful, amazing, (I’ve been there and it really is just as beautiful in person…) and it’s nearly empty on Sundays. It could be full. People could be flocking to hear the sermons, the music, listening to the truth…but it has become dull to them. They are tuning Him out. So this beautiful Cathedral sits as a visitor destination. Gag.
Yet, what happens when tragedy strikes? Where do they all go? Who do they all blame? Where is their hope? Where is our hope? Where is your hope?

I sure hope that your hope and mine will not be found in turning on a t.v., a cellphone, ipod, ipad, or whatever device is yours…
Well, this is very late…interesting morning…;) Pray on…
