Good morning, beloved,
Yesterday I pleaded on behalf of my hubby, I thank you. Here’s the updated email I sent out in the afternoon. 🙂
The neurosurgeon feels the radiologist was quite hasty in his report. So…
1. Joshua went down to have blood work.
2. He will have an MRI in one month. Both of these will tell the surgeon what line of cyst this is…
The doctor is, at this point, pretty positive. Meaning, this little cyst is not the source of his headaches. This is not the cause of his issues. Back to the neurologist…to help with the root. We will continue with dietary and environmental…
Thank you for praying. If you are on Facebook, then you might have seen some pictures of our Luke. He had been complaining of pain in his wrist. He had fallen off of his scooter. So, since we were at Rush, we took him to the ER, and five hours later, they did find he had broken his wrist. So we would gratefully appreciate your prayers for him as well.
Friends, before I go on, I have received some comments lately and I need you to hear this very clearly. God gives each of us our own burdens, trials and sufferings. God knows. I ask how someone is doing and people almost feel bad telling me. I ask dear ones how life is going and things are hard but when they look at my life…friends, God gives us one another for blessing for life. Don’t feel bad for me. Don’t pity me. Pray for me. When you see those around you going through hard times, walk with them. My God is close to me. He is my ever present help and strength. I am strengthened when I can pray for you. My faith is strengthened when I know that I am not alone.
My eldest son got an award at AWANA last night for finishing the next book in the Junior High series. He is on track to get the Meritorious Award. We are so proud of him. He is pressing forward even though this has been a hard year to get him there every week. He did it. God has given me a blog to allow me to proclaim His word and if only one person reads it and is blessed by it…rather, if I am only blessing my God by proclaiming His Word and He knows my heart, it is good. God’s gifts are so good.
If you are struggling and you are tired, allow me to pray for you. I love you. I love your heart. I am so thankful for you. God never meant for us to compare our burdens. He meant for us to share them with one another. He meant us to share them with HIM!
24But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever.
25Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.26[Here is] the High Priest [perfectly adapted] to our needs, as was fitting–holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners, and exalted higher than the heavens.
On another note, lest you think me some kind of perfect Mom, drop by sometime. Or ask my Mom. Or my kids. I’m not. Or ask God when you get there. Don’t put anyone in an elevated place in your mind. Keep Jesus there. He’s the only one who deserves your praise. When Ella walked in with her pinky toenail ripped off and then Luke trailed in after with his wrist limply in pain…I didn’t handle that well…I’m a disciple, friends. I am on the same road as you, my sweet loves. Let this be our cry today!
Pray on. Pray on.
