Good morning, beloved,
I thought it would be interesting to understand a little more about the man behind St. Valentine’s day. So I looked. And I looked. And I looked. We have the catholic.org version, the wikipedia version, the history channel version..which would you like? Sigh. I guess I will just stick with a lack of understanding and wisdom on the man behind the myth. Good luck to you who seeks to find the truth on him.
My girl gets to go to a Valentine’s day party today. She wanted to go to sleep before AWANA last night so it would be time to go. She has her outfit laid out. A plan for the hair. Shoes. Whose daughter might this be? After being around this earth for forty years, I finally broke down and got a hair dryer. Yep.
We had quite a day around here yesterday, or rather, our landlords did. With the floors so heavily damaged, the pipe bursts, it appears we will be getting all new floors in our bottom floor. They will be ripping out all the floors except the bedrooms which were not damaged in the pipe burst. Not exactly sure when this will all be transpiring, needless to say, we are thrilled. We are having the carpets upstairs all cleaned next week so it appears that our house will be getting a thorough face lift. 🙂 Thank You, Lord.
It is just stuff, though, it’s just stuff. It will fade. It will. However, God reminded me of many things. He’s in the details. He hears my cries, my worries. He’s got a great plan. Similar to my daughter with the outfit, shoes and hair planned, He has it all laid out.

Pray with me? Pray for your Pastor:
Pray that your pastor will focus on the Word of God and walk in the fear of the Lord—rather than fear of man—as he prepares his messages. Pray that he will seek to please God rather than men, and pursue holiness rather than the praise of men. (Acts 6:4;Prov. 19:23; 2 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 11:6; 2 Tim. 4:1-2) Revive Our Hearts
His wife?
Pray that your pastor’s wife will focus on the Word of God and walk by faith in the fear of the Lord—rather than the fear of man. Pray that she will not seek acceptance from others or compare herself with them, but that she will discover true freedom in her position in Christ. (Prov. 19:23; 31:30; Heb. 11:6; 2 Tim. 2:15; Ps. 119:45; Eph. 1:3-12) Revive Our Hearts
