10 things I’m not loving today
So, today’s list…what would you add?
- Retractable leashes. IF you are going to walk on the other side of the street, but allow your dog to greet mine, why have a leash at all?
- Spiders, ants, insects. If you know me, this is my downfall. I do not go running through the house screaming, but I do insist on help removing said vile creations.
- Raisins in baked goods. Please do not put them in baked goods unless you are also including a small sign with warnings that these are not chocolate morsels of delight.
- Weeds. I look at my yard one day and its fine and the next and it’s the Amazon jungle and who has time for that.
- Avocados. One day they are not ripe. The next day, BAM, ready and I go to get a knife and oops, I missed my window and now, it’s all brown and gross. Change my mind.
- Clutter. I think overnight clutter has camp meetings and gathers together and gets worse. UGH.
- Masks. I’m tired of wearing one, but I wear one anyway. I’ll wear it until this COVID is gone.
- Matching socks. Literally now have a rubbermaid tote full of socks. Why don’t I just throw all the socks away and start again?
- Cancer. Tired of friends having it. Tired of loved ones suffering.
- Worry, anxiety, and fear. Seeing it in myself and my responses. Seeing it in others. The closer I draw to God’s word, think on his word, the less I focus on these things.
And peace.
