I really don’t know how to start today’s post. i keep writing and deleting and hoping i will figure it out. I realize that i hold my breath and struggle to find words when i need encouragement. When i need hope. I. I. I. I came out yesterday in tears because of pain and my husband and two oldest just came around me and hugged me.
I realize that wordless gesture meant more than they will ever know. i knew what they were saying in this. It was comfort and it was Jesus to me. Texts, phone calls, notes have been such a comfort as well. yet, I will be honest, it can feel very lonely being in pain. If I share too much, will people get sick of hearing me? If I gasp in pain, am i being overly dramatic?
How can i serve God in this? How can i love the One who is with me always?
I proclaim his name. I write these posts to Him. So, today, when words are not coming, I repeat his promises to me, to you.
For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. he will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will accomplish this.
Isa 9:6-7

This is the name he will be called: The LORD is Our Righteousness.”

I need to start moving. I will continue tomorrow. I will tell you, I finish this post in a different frame of mind than I began. Typing out the word. Letting it move through my mind. Allowing truth to be my anchor. Something always changes when I bless your name, Jesus.
