Good morning, beloved,
Perspective is such a valuable commodity. The morning started off with such peace and “happyness”, it was amazing to have it fall apart. I could point fingers and say it was him, or him, or him, or him, or her, but that would be allowing my sinful spirit to flourish. Joshua and I were meeting and I suggested, “let’s go do something!” to which he replied, “Noah has a boot on his leg, Ella is using a walker and it is 95 degrees out…good luck.” From then on during that day, I felt like a caged Starburst. (my dog..) I could not get my mind off the lack of things to do and began to feel sorry for myself. Oh, good grief, even saying it out loud makes me frustrated. When will I habitually stop, turn on the music, read the verses plastered all over my house and declare a victory for the Spirit living inside of me?
“The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.” Psalm 119:130AMP
God will provide. God will give us all we need. God is trustworthy. Always. I proclaim victory over my fear and doubt. It can be no other way.
Come thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
I’ll praise the mount I’m fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming loveHere I raise my Ebenezer
Hither by Thy help I come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wondering from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious bloodO to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let thy goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here’s my heart Lord, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
I’m just not going to allow fear to rule my heart. I praise you Lord! Peace.
Let’s turn our hearts to Jesus and His Word.
Matthew 7 :
Do not judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves.
2 For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticizedand condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.
3 Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brother’s eye but do not become aware of and consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye?
4 Or how can you say to your brother, Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye, when there is the beam of timber in your own eye?
5 You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the tiny particle out of your brother’s eye.
6 Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces.
7 Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent?
11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good andadvantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!
12 So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to andfor them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets.
What I pull out today, what blesses my socks off and I shall eat this today: 11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good andadvantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!
My God shall provide for all my needs. Your needs. God is perfect. He gives good gifts to those who keep on asking! Lord we are asking. We are putting our hope in You. I know You will not give us stones, you have eternal life. As Peter said,
66 After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him.
67 Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?]
68 Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life.
69 And we have learned to believe and trust, and [more] we have come to know [surely] that You are the Holy One of God, the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of the living God.
He is our only hope!
Pray on, beloved. Pray on.
