So, I am not a coloring book aficionado. I would LIKE to be one who sits and finishes coloring book pages and enjoying this process, but I start a page and I get distracted way too easily. For example, I see a coffee cup. I see a dog toy. I see dish rag. Okay, who am I kidding, I see a pile of dishes. My eyes get unfocused on the page before me and I am not really great at sticking to the coloring. Subsequently, I get up, and begin picking up.
Anyway, like the funny video, I can get tired of what is front of me. I grow weary. I can learn so much by just laughing MORE.
Interestingly enough, my spiritual eyes have been a source of discussion between the Lord and I much of the last few weeks. Each day has been a little bit different of a focus, but the result is the same. Fix my eyes. Capture my thoughts. The more I keep moving my gaze to him, his truth, his light and life and the less I focus on my worries, hurts and fears, I am becoming more at rest.
Every day, I have waited to hear news of dates for the re-opening of our state. I am not sure why, I suppose I think I will miss the news and something will happen. I sit in my house and wonder, am I doing enough? Could I be doing more? Where is my focus when I do this? Not on Christ. Not on people. Not on serving.
In conclusion, the phone needs to go down more. Ears up to how I can be serving in this time. Praying for God to move powerfully in the midst of these circumstances that are not out of his control. Not only that, maybe add a little more laughter into my life.
1 I[b] will praise the Lord at all times;
His praise will always be on my lips.
2 I will boast in the Lord;
the humble will hear and be glad.
3 Proclaim Yahweh’s greatness with me;
let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to Him are[c] radiant with joy;
their faces will never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
and saved him from all his troubles.
7 The Angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear Him, and rescues them.
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 You who are His holy ones, fear Yahweh,
for those who fear Him lack nothing.
10 Young lions[d] lack food and go hungry,
but those who seek the Lord
will not lack any good thing.

One last thing, let us seek the Lord. Come and take refuge in him. Come and seek the Lord. Reach out to me for prayer. I’m here too.
