Good morning, sweet beloved of God,
This picture feels a little like my life…beauty among leaves that are dying. Vibrant greens yet death remains..I stretch my hands to the sky and the evil one does his best to drag my face to the ground. I stretch. A neighbor stops by and I learn of my name being dragged through the mud. I look down. The leaves brown around me. Wait.. I am His beloved. That flower in the middle? That’s me, that’s you. So I stretch my hands again. Joshua can’t come with me to the epileptologist for Danny today. I look down again. My children are watching. The green is so vibrant. So I stretch my hands up again.
I’d never heard that song before! Praise You Lord! Did you know the birds start singing to the Lord as the sun rises and maybe even a little before? This morning I am taking Daniel down to Rush Hospital and I woke up before the alarm. I think my God knew I needed these verses this morning…
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not, O Zion. Let not your hands sink down or be slow and listless.
17 The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silentand make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.
Fear not….
Yes, God had an appointment with me today. How about you? I love you, LORD. You are taking GOOD care of us. I know YOU have this all covered. I’m just trusting in You in this peace and comfort. This appointment is Yours. My fears, my cares, everything..it’s Yours..I pray for this neighbor, may we bless her with Your love and grace. May we show her Your love.
3 Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble and tottering knees.
4 Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you.
10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.
13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!
14 Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you, says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
Oh, beloved, what situations in your life do you need to lift up to the Lord and let go? Read those verses! There is nothing to fear! He is with us. Do not look around in terror. He will strengthen us. He will help us. He will hold us up.
I haven’t even touched the next verse which I will work on tomorrow…pray on beloved…beautiful sunrise this morning…
