Good morning, beloved of God,

I am loving these little flowers! Among the dead pine needles, these “Hardy” little ones come through and bring color and glory into their world..greens, pinks, purples…vibrant! (I’m liking that word lately..)  We have a chance to be color in our world that is dying. To be light and vibrant and life to a world that is slowly decaying, and I am challenged by my own words. My neighbor knows no better than to talk behind my back. She does not know the love of Almighty God, yet maybe if we show her love and mercy and kindness…My sweet neighbor who loves me with many gifts of clothes and books and such, she needs the love of Jesus as well..even tho she is easier to love, God doesn’t call me to just love easy people. (trust me on this one.)

It isn’t as if I walk into conversations on my power.  Remember our verses from yesterday, beloved…let’s pick up where we left off yesterday…

Zephaniah 3: ¹⁷ The LORD your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silentand make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

Well, I colored the Lord in purple..let’s look at all we learn by just listing all of His…well, you know, I should play the song, shouldn’t I? I mean, good grief..

The LORD- we’ve talked about this before, but let’s review, it’s important, really important!

Jehovah = “the existing One”

1) the proper name of the one true God

a) unpronounced except with the vowel pointings

your God-‘elohiym-the (true) God

So, the LORD your God…the existing One your one true God is in the midst of You! How about that?

midst-midst, among, inner part, middle,  inward part, physical sense,  as seat of thought and emotion: entrails (of sacrificial animals)

So, if He is in the midst of you and me…and that is inward..it’s physical but it is also thoughts and emotions! He’s everywhere..Glory! He is with us! Everywhere. We are not alone..

A Mighty One, A Savior..

2) to save from moral troubles

3) to give victory to

Can I get an amen? We serve the Almighty God whose plan has always been to save us and heal us and keep us!

Here is what our God promises to do for His faithful..ready! set! print this list out! It’s too good to keep for yourself..share it..

1. He’s going to rejoice over you with joy. (That’s an overabundance of joy, wouldn’t you say?)
