Good morning, beloved,
We had a park day yesterday: meaning: we all went to the park to meet up with friends. 🙂 It is a semi-organized event as other homeschoolers come and play as well and we never know who is going to show. Yesterday, a new family came to the park and sat down. They just had moved to the area from Atlanta…they were here because of a job transfer.
Now, they were starting over. New friends, new church, new life…and I could see myself in her eyes two years earlier almost to the day. The past two years danced before my eyes and I was just so grateful. It has been two years. Amazing. Many days of pain, yet I am not the woman who moved here two years ago.
Kickball games sprung up. Girls were sitting sharing stories. It was a sunshiny, beautiful, warm day.
We took the kids to see a movie last night and we were all loud. We were laughing and loud and yelling at all the right parts. And I looked around and realized that nobody was interacting like we were…that we were “those people”. We sat in the theatre til the end. 😉 The whole ride home everyone was talking over each other in excitement and saying all the lines to each other and having fun laughing…I pause, and I give thanks for this moment.
5 As you know not what is the way of the wind, or how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a pregnant woman, even so you know not the work of God, Who does all.
6 In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hands, for you know not which shall prosper, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
The mysteries of the workings of God…amazes me to ponder. These verses are so very reflective and if you think on who wrote, Ecclesiastes, (Solomon) this does make sense. We are never meant to understand God. We were meant to worship!
Jesus spoke of this verse…
8 The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.
Jesus uses word pictures so when we see what He describes we remember. So the next time the wind blows on your beautiful, God created face you will remember how the one who is born of the Spirit moves…
14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
Reverence…in awe of what we do not understand, yet are not meant to comprehend.
5 The shades of the dead tremble underneath the waters and their inhabitants.
6 Sheol (the place of the dead) is naked before God, and Abaddon (the place of destruction) has no covering [from His eyes].
7 He it is Who spreads out the northern skies over emptiness and [a]hangs the earth upon or over nothing.
8 He holds the waters bound in His clouds [which otherwise would spill on earth all at once], and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He covers the face of His throne and spreads over it His cloud.
4 Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Declare to Me, if you have and know understanding.
5 Who determined the measures of the earth, if you know? Or who stretched the measuring line upon it?
6 Upon what were the foundations of it fastened, or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors when it broke forth andissued out of the womb?—
Pray on, beloved. Pray on..
