My plans for yesterday were dashed quickly on. I had a list a mile long of everything I needed to do. Right? And I was grounded. I stayed home.
And it was God’s delight and plan for our day. I was able to do so much just staying home. with no school in my day, we played, we cleaned, stripped beds, but my crowning achievement was I made yogurt!! 😉 No, that was my crowning achievement, the Lord taught me so much about dying to myself and my rights and my plans. His plans are SO much better. I love Him.
Have you ever thought that lost keys are His design? Have you ever thought being late saved you? Have you ever thought losing your glasses are a gift from God? Have you ever thought a broken Wii is a good thing? As well as a broken DS? As well as a car broken down? When was the last time you allow GOD to bless you in turning your mind to blessing?

The Psalm from www.biblegateway.com is such a breathtaking one! Ponder, sit, calmly think of this..(otherwise known as Selah)
1REJOICE IN the Lord, O you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you upright in right standing with God]; for praise is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright [in heart].
2Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; sing praises to Him with the harp of ten strings.
3Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound.
4For the word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness.
5He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord.
6By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.
7He gathers the waters of the sea as in a bottle; He puts the deeps in storage places.
8Let all the earth fear the Lord [revere and worship Him]; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
10The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts and plans of the peoples of no effect.
11The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart through all generations.
13The Lord looks from heaven, He beholds all the sons of men;
14From His dwelling place He looks [intently] upon all the inhabitants of the earth–
15He Who fashions the hearts of them all, Who considers all their doings.
16No king is saved by the great size and power of his army; a mighty man is not delivered by [his] much strength.
17A horse is devoid of value for victory; neither does he deliver any by his great power.
19To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
20Our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.
21For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy name.
22Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.

Here’s my suggestion for you. Print this out and highlight all that God does. I’m going to bold the first couple of verses…Or write in your Bible..;0)
Then what is our response? What should we do? I italicized this…
So keep going…and you will be “Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.”vs 12
As your day continues on, remember, hold it in your heart that “18Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness..”

Why a sheep? We are sheep. Isaiah 53:6-7 6All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all.
7He was oppressed, [yet when] He was afflicted, He was submissive and opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
Pray for His Spirit to destroy in you your desire for self promotion, self righteousness..that your desire is to become just like His Son, Jesus..

Philippians 2: 5Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]
6Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [[b]possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not [c]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped [d]or retained,
7But stripped Himself [of all privileges and [e]rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
8And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!
9Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has [f]freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
10That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee [g]should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
More of you Lord, less of me…I pray for you. You are His beloved. He loves you so much.
Pray on. Pray on!
