In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-2, 14
I’m telling you, these are some of my favorite words in Scripture. I say that frequently. Jesus was/is/will be the Word. Jesus with God, is God and there in the beginning. He became flesh. He dwelt among us. Observed his glory. He is full of grace and truth. Only Son from the Father God.
Letting that truth wash over me anew.
I’m not sure if this is your experience, but I can be haunted or blessed by people’s words on subjects and focus on them rather than on the word of God. The word of God transfixes me, the words of people do not. The word of God changes me, most of the time I allow more access from other’s words, rather than the LORD. The word of God sustains and i declare that the word of God is training me, I pray for other’s words to not have that place.
My soul, bless the LORD, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. My soul, bless the LORD, and do not forget all his benefits. He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the PIT; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion. He satisfies you with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Psalm 103:1-5
Something always changes when I bless Your Name.
