Praise…

Good morning, beloved,

I woke up in a cloud of dread, sadness and gloom. I’ll just be real honest. I cannot put my finger on exactly why so many things just dragging me down.

I found myself agitated with silly things. Stupid things. I am tunnel focused this morning. And so, the Lord showed me a way out.

Isaiah 25: 1  ¹O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things, even purposes planned of old [and fulfilled] in faithfulness and truth.

I remember what He has done for me, for my husband, for my family. I remember how He has never left me. I remember that He is faithful God.

Isaiah 61:10 ¹⁰I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

He has saved me! I am forgiven. I have been given new clothes. I keep trying to grab my filthy rags and He pushes my hands away and put on the new clothes. 🙂

Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my Salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

I will sing today. Yes, I will sing. I will keep music on all day. No matter what. I will remember through song. This is my way to remember as well.

Psalm 118:28 You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You.

I’m going to keep my book of thanks open today on my counter. I am going to look for ways to be thankful and grateful today.

Psalm 40:5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.

Fill me, Lord, with your Spirit. All of this can only be done with Your Spirit. Not on my own, but with YOU..Help me to know what is most important today. Help me to speak when necessary and listen, listen, listen. May I hear Your voice today. May Your will be done in my life today.
