Good morning, beloved of God,
Ever wake up sad? Your dreams weigh you down (even tho they are not real)? Open your email to more bills. The weight of the world is on your shoulders. My morning started off this way. I was just plain down. And right away, I wanted my sweet Lord’s presence with me. I couldn’t shoulder this alone. I confessed my sin. (That’s my go to when I feel like this..) Then I opened my youtube account and someone posted had posted this:
Hallelujah Chorus -Quinhagak, Alaska
And as I began to watch, I began to smile. I raised my hands and praised Him. And I realized, yes, I do need to be clean before my Lord, confessing my sins, yet this morning, as I raise my hands to praise the cobwebs began to fall away. The darkness was replaced by light.
5Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God.
Surround yourself with praise, friends, when the darkness seems to overwhelm. When hope seems far away, cling steadfastly to YOUR God! And He will be triumphant. Always. Always. Always.
The verses of today:
2Grace (unmerited favor) be to you and [heart] peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
3We ought and indeed are obligated [as those in debt] to give thanks (eucharisteo)always to God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith (pistis) is growing exceedingly (hyperauxanō) and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds.
4And this is a cause of our mentioning you with pride among the churches (assemblies) of God for your steadfastness (hypomonē) and your firm faith (pistis) in the midst of all the persecutions and crushing distresses and afflictions (thlipsis)under which you are holding up (anechō).
Click on the strange words in parentheses. This would be the Greek. 🙂 Allow yourself a few more moments to study His Word for you today.
How perfect is our God! How wonderful that He would ordain these words to bless and give hope! Hold up, o my soul. Life may be crushing but we hold up because our God!
How Great Is OUR GOD!
God bless you, friends. Pray on, pray ON!
