Superabundantly

Good morning, beloved,

This picture and this song came together this morning:

I woke this morning to a feeling. A dread and I had to work through my mind how untrue the dread is in my life. Yes, I leave behind Joshua and my three cuties for a few days. I dread that. I don’t like leaving my kids to take Daniel to the hospital. It has been a long time since we’ve had to do this. Yet, God has shown a path, I pray, that we can see to the end.  When I go to the hospital, this time, I’m asking God to use me. I want this time to count for the kingdom. I can’t leave Daniel in his room. God can do miracles with the time. More than that, I’m praying that God will show us more of what He knows of His precious boy. So we can help him more. We’ve waited a long time for that.

These two songs mean a lot to me this morning, friends. How about you? We need Jesus. We need His Word to transform us and move us. Today’s verses of the day from biblegateway.com come and refresh my soul:

Ephesians 3: ¹⁹ [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

So my feeble thoughts, my prayers, my desires, thoughts, hopes and dreams of the week to come are nothing compared to the amazing God we serve who can do superabundantly, far over and above all!! Yes, I needed that today! 🙂  His love which is past mere knowledge.

Lord, fill us this day..to my toes, to my fingers, to the top of my head and please fill me with the fullness of God!
