Good morning, beloved,
Psalm 94 AMP
18 When I said, My foot is slipping, Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, held me up.
19 In the multitude of my [anxious] thoughts within me, Your comforts cheer and delight my soul!
Mercy, loving-kindness..holding me up. Anxious thoughts here and there threaten to overwhelm me, Your love i s an anchor. It brings little neighborhood carnivals to brighten my children’s day. A Christian neighbor when I did not know I had any..time with a friend who finishes my sentences and knows my life because she lives it too. I just want today to tip my head up, raise my hands and feel the sunshine and keep the worship going through the house today. Light. Love. Receive it. give it. Hold onto it. Hold onto my loved ones. Teach them to hold onto one another.
This morning was a teaching moment for me. How critical it is for me to call out for His help, how much I need to take the rest I need…rather than be consumed by thoughts that produce worry, stress and hurt. When exhaustion creeps in, my thoughts train wreck. Yet, when I pulled up the verses today, I remembered. Do you need to remember too?
”When your heart belongs to God and you will to do His will, you can rest assured, Beloved, that God will lead you by His Spirit, step by step. Your responsibility is simply to commit your way unto Him and He will bring it to pass.”
