God, I set my focus on you right now. I know that all things are possible with you. I bring the giants of my life to the foot of the cross. I have questions that cannot be answered anywhere else. I stare out through the blinds of my window anod realize something. I am not seeing the full picture. Only you see the full picture of truth. Only you see the full timeline of this life, this world, this universe. You see the whole breadth of humanity. I am dust. Truly. You are the same God. Always. So this post is a reminder.
Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
Psalm 29:1-2
I envision what these verses must be. I cannot imagine the hope and beauty of heaven. My pictures in my mind and in media do not touch reality. Angels. Beauty. Glory. Strength. Worship. Splendor of holiness. Can I even grasp? No. Writing these words lifts my heart. I’m listening to a song, Something Always Changes and here is the truth, my mind moves when I ascribe to the LORD.
The voice of the LORD is above the waters. The God of glory thunders—the LORD, above the vast water, the voice of the LORD in over, the voice of the LORD in splendor. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion, like a young wild ox. The voice of the LORD flashes flames of fire. The voice of the LORD shares the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth and strips the woodlands bare. In his temple all cry, “Glory!”
Psalm 29:3-9
Look at this list with me.

Lord, through you all things are possible. And to consider you above my understanding, I cling to hope. I cling to the voice of the LORD
The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned King forever. The LORD gives his people strength, the LORD blesses his people with peace.
Psalm 29:10-11
